Offline Data Caching

Orbis stores everything into its cache, as it passes the screen. Therefore, you only need this feature if you need to get data before you get to your destination, possibly because you will not be able to get online in there.

Example: You want to go hiking in the Alps. You know that there may be signal blackouts and, furthermore, accessing the Internet abroad is much too expensive for you. So you make ready for the trip at home: you run Orbis, move the map to your target region and run caching.

The data remain in the phone and despite you disabled Internet connections in the settings of your cell phone, you still can run Orbis, and it works just as well as connected - or even better, because you are not restricted by download speed rate.
